This is written for people who know nothing about cognitive functions nor MBTI and wish to understand it better. I am someone who has worked with Mara before and I believe I understand to a certain degree on how to answer some of the questions people may have on doing Mara's MBTI test.

  1. Which comes most naturally to you?

Option 1: Analyzing what's important to me, staying true to my feelings, self-expression, and authenticity.

This means that you keep true to your values. This is about the Fi function afterall. Do you base your values by your own internal values and rely on emotions? If you do not then this option does not apply to you.

Option 2: Emotionally detached thinking, trial and error troubleshooting, solving puzzles, figuring things out for myself.

This option means that you keep your thinking logic to yourself. This is about the Ti function actually. Do you keep your thinking thoughts to yourself and prefer logic over emotions? If this is you then this option applies to you.

Option 3: Structuring and optimizing my environment, setting goals, streamlining, logically solving people's problems.

This option means that you prefer logic over feelings universally. This is about the function Te. Do you express your concerns logically to others? Do you like to talk to people using logic over emotions? If this is correct then this is you.

Option 4: Seeking common ground and consensus with others, supportive relationships, meeting and/or adapting to the needs of others.

This option means that you prefer emotions over logic universally. This is about the function Fe. Do you express your concerns using your feelings to others? Do you outlet externally using feelings? If this is correct then this is you.
