Nothing was my everything,
There was no other pillar to hold onto,
Saw you as my shining light
Clinged onto you
There was nothing else

Error! Error! Error!
No better options!
Demons surrounded me!
I survived a life-or-death battle!
You bandaged me right up, all right

I clung onto you
I saw you as my god, my universe
I saw you as my entire world
I saw you as my everything
I saw you as someone whom I should worship

Whatever occurred to you, to us
It would affect my mood, my self-esteem
There was nothing else to hang onto
Even if our world were not enough
I had to cling to it

Dear princess,
Our world was not enough
To sustain me
It was not enough
To allow me to flourish

I’m sorry, my princess,
I enforced you to play the role of a goddess,
To give me water
To give me food
To give me shelter
To give me support
To give me companionship

A wounded soldier,
Surviving a hideous monster
